Christian..
A word once meant to mock those who followed “the Way.”
Now it’s a title many wear loosely, like a badge without a battle.
Anyone can call themselves a Christian
know of God, quote verses, post scriptures,
and still live untouched, unchanged, unbroken.
It’s a name that can rest on lips,
yet never reach the heart.
A disciple doesn’t just believe, they become.
They follow when it’s hard,
obey when it’s unpopular,
and repent when they fall.
A disciple doesn’t seek to look holy,
they seek to be holy.
They are students of the Word,
servants of the Spirit,
and carriers of the cross.
Their title isn’t worn, it’s lived
But make no mistake.
I am not here for a label.
I am here to be transformed.
To follow. To obey. To carry my cross…
Even when it’s heavy.
This is the difference between a name and a life fully surrendered
